MOTHER NATURE CANCELS MONDAY'S BASEBALL BATTLE WITH THE HUSKIES

SEATTLE -- Avoiding weather all weekend in its three-game Western Athletic Conference series at Seattle U, Mother Nature finally got her opportunity to spoil a game during Sacramento State's trip to the Pacific Northwest, washing out Monday night's scheduled baseball contest at the University of Washington.

The Hornets return home to open a run of four straight contests at John Smith Field. Sacramento State hosts West Division leader Grand Canyon for three games beginning Friday (March 25) and running through the weekend, before welcoming regional rival Pacific on Tuesday (March 29).
