BAILEY, BROUSSARD EARN ADDITIONAL ALL-AMERICA ACCOLADES

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Linebacker Armon Bailey and safety Cameron Broussard were named to the Stats Perform FCS All-America third team presented by FedEx Ground, it was announced today. The honor is the second All-America award for each this postseason.

Bailey led the Hornets with 97 total tackles in 2023, including a team-high 8.0 tackles-for-loss. The two time first team all-Big Sky selection was one of the most consistent players on the team, recording at least four tackles in each of his 12 games. He had eight stops or more in eight games, including a season-high 11 tackles at Stanford and Idaho in back-to-back games. Bailey concluded his Sacramento State career ranked 14th in school history with 229 total tackles.

Broussard started each of the team's regular season games and ended the year ranked second on the team with 73 total tackles. His season included recording double-digit tackles against Northern Colorado and Stanford, having five tackles in nine games and at least three in all of his 11 games. Broussard also had a pair of interceptions during the season and was credited with five pass breakups.
