                        2013 Sand Season
 Played in six matches during the program’s inaugural sand season…posted a 2-2 record with doubles partner Breanne Menees, and 0-2 with Chelcy Motes…secured the sand program’s first-ever doubles win when she and Menees beat Cal’s Christina Higgins and Janelle Jordan at No. 5 by a 21-14, 21-19 score.
2011 Season
 Started all 32 matches and appeared in 121 of a possible 123 sets…a   second team all-Big Sky Conference selection after averaging 1.88 kills   and 1.12 blocks per set while hitting .242…against conference   opposition, she raised those averages to 2.02 kills and 1.19 blocks per   set while hitting .259…among Big Sky leaders (in matches against league   opposition), she ranked third in blocks, ninth in service aces (0.26  per  set) and 10th in hitting percentage…named all-tournament at the Big  Sky  Tournament and the Belmont Invitational…hit better than .300 in 14   matches, including a stretch of six straight matches from Sept.  24-Oct.  8…posted double digits in kills on seven occasions…had at least  four  blocks in each of the last seven matches of the season, and 12 of  the  last 14…finished her career with 472 blocks, the eighth best mark  in  school history.
 
 2010 Season
 Started all 32 matches and appeared in all 127 sets…averaged 1.61 kills,   0.61 digs, 1.06 blocks, 0.25 aces and 2.46 points per set…had a .212   hitting percentage, and 32 aces compared to just 21 service errors…among   team leaders, she was first in blocks, second in hitting percentage,   third in points, and fourth in kills and attacks…finished fourth in the   Big Sky in blocks, and was one of just four players in the conference  to  average more than 1.0 blocks per set…also seventh in the league in   service aces…posted double figures in kills on six occasions, and the   Hornets were 4-2 in those matches…named all-tournament at both the   Corvallis Invitational and the Fresno State Invitational…had her first   career double-double with 12 kills and a career-high tying 10 blocks in a   home win against Idaho State…hit better than .300 in 11 matches…had a   career-high five aces against Montana State which tied for the third   best single-match mark in the Big Sky during the season.
 
 2009 Season
 Started all but one match, and appeared in 122 of a possible 129   sets…finished with season averages of 1.44 kills, 0.59 digs and 0.91   blocks per set…among team leaders, she was first in blocks, tied for   fourth in kills and her .208 hitting percentage was the third-best mark   among Hornet regulars…her 0.91 blocks per set ranked as the fifth best   mark in the Big Sky Conference…posted at least four blocks in 15   matches, including a season-high nine against Fresno State…posted double   figures in kills in three of the team’s final nine matches…had 28  aces,  the sixth most on the team…matched or set season highs in kills  (18),  attacks (28), aces (3) and hitting percentage (.571, 18-2-28) in  the  Hornets’ 3-1 win at Northern Arizona…also had 16 kills at Montana  State,  and 11 more at home against Eastern Washington.
  
 2008 Season
 Appeared in 32 matches, including 29 starts (fourth most on the team)   despite being a freshman…finished with averages of 1.34 kills, 0.42 digs   and a team-high 0.83 blocks per set to go along with a .194 hitting   percentage…bumped those numbers against Big Sky competition to 1.43   kills and 1.10 blocks per set with a .245 hitting percentage…the 1.10   blocks were the fifth best mark in the conference…finished with at least   three blocks in 14 of her final 16 matches of the season…that included  a  season-best 10 stuffs against Northern Arizona…posted double figures  in  kills on two occasions…collected 11 kills, five blocks and a   season-high .556 hitting percentage (11-1-18) vs. Montana…also tallied   11 kills, eight blocks and a .389 hitting percentage (11-4-18) at Idaho   State…one of eight Hornets selected to the Big Sky all-academic team.
  
 High School
 A 2008 graduate of Rocklin High School…played four years of varsity   volleyball, and four years of basketball…in volleyball, she was a   three-time first team all-Sierra Foothill League selection (2005-07),   two-time all-Metro (2006-07) and named to the Optimist All Star Game as a   senior…her 141 blocks and 2.1 blocks per set as a junior were both   school records, and her 131 blocks as a sophomore were the third-best   mark in school history…had 19 blocks against Granite Bay High School in   2006, setting Rocklin’s single-match record…as a senior, she helped  lead  the Thunder to a 34-8 overall record, an 11-2 conference mark and a   fourth-place finish in the Div. II Northern California playoffs…was an   all-league choice in basketball during her junior season.
 
 Personal
 Parents are Steven and Rosemary Elston…a communication studies major who   is on pace to graduate in the spring of 2013…played in the summer of   2008 for the 18-under Gold Cal Junior Club volleyball team, which was   coached by current Hornet head coach Ruben Volta…that team placed fifth   in the American division at the Junior Olympics.
