AS A REDSHIRT SENIOR (2012)
Recorded eight saves and 25 strikeouts as the Hornets' closer...was drafted in the 20th round of the 2012 MLB Draft by the Tampa Bay Rays...went 1-2 and posted a 3.90 ERA in 30 innings pitched with 21 walks and 25 strikeouts...his 3.90 ERA was the best on the team among pitchers with 10+ innings pitched...opposing batters hit just .210 against him, the best on the team...didn't surpass more than two innings pitched all season until he was called upon in the eighth inning of the Western Athletic Conference title game against Fresno State on May 27...pitched 5.1 innings, holding the Bulldogs scoreless from the eighth to the 12th innings before giving up a run on a bloop single in the 13th.

AS A SENIOR (2011)
Redshirted the season after transferring from Oral Roberts.

PRIOR TO SACRAMENTO STATE
Made four relief appearances at Oral Roberts as a junior in 2010 after transferring from Sacramento City College...played two seasons at Sac City...appeared in nine games as a sophomore, including eight games in relief...posted a 4-0 record and 1.90 ERA...allowed just 10 hits in 23.2 innings, striking out 26 batters and walking nine...made 15 appearances with seven starts as a freshman...compiled a 5.35 ERA with 30 strikeouts in 35.1 innings.

HIGH SCHOOL
2007 graduate of Florin HS...holds the school's all-time strikeout record...named the all-Delta River League team MVP...also lettered in football, earning team defensive player of the year honors.
