SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The Sacramento State gymnastics team will hold its first public performance of the year on Sunday, Dec. 7, with its annual FlipFest. The intrasquad meet will begin at 2 p.m. in The Nest and is free to the public.

Hornet gymnasts will be divided into two teams (Green & Gold) with both teams competing on all four events. Each routine will also be judged.

The Sacramento State returns a large portion of its roster from a year ago, including seniors Kara Houghton, Sarah Lutrel and Rylin Zimmerman. 

The Hornets will start the regular season on Jan. 11 with a home meet against Alaska Anchorage. The team will have five home meets during the year and will see the regular season capped by the MPSF Championships in Cedar City, Utah on March 21.
